With a strong winds forecast Llyn Padarn was the location for the day, a large inland lake which allowed some work in the wind and much shelter. Hoods were up but spirits were high as we paddled off to explore the lake and the lagoons.
The day was focused on developing technical skills, inside turns, bow rudders, draw strokes, stern rudders and use of keg.
The views were quite stunning, and allowed us to work with stern rudders and use of skeg, as we did a down wind run.
Back at the start, time to change and get into some dry clothes and go a find a cafe with some big mugs of tea and then time to get all paddle kit into the drying room!
