Improve sea kayaking - carmell head, north wales, anglesey

With familiar faces back for another weekend, Keith had produced a plan for the day, which we discussed over a coffee. 1 hour latter and we were at Church Bay on Anglesey unloading kayaks and getting kitted up for the day.

There was very little wind about, but a fair swell running and this with a spring tide, provided a super conveyor belt of current. The skerries light house may just be seen in the back ground, with Richard in the foreground.

We worked in some small swell, current and eddies, Elaine below in the photo and our new red atlantic lv.

Richard, Elaine, Sonja and Frank at the entrance of a cave, to much swell to go in far!

A few circuits of eddy turns and ferry gliding across the flow and then back

Super conditions ...
We paddled back under super smooth conditions ... and now for the cafe and one of their cream teas!!
